Anticipating the need to understand the intricacies of the Goods and Services Tax, our Client, a full-service Indian law-firm acclaimed for its legal acumen and expertise, assigned to us the design development of their online training platform to coincide with the release of the imminent Goods & Services Tax (GST) by the Government of India.

The training platform audience was identified as chartered accountants and independent lawyers who would invest time in self-learning and certification. The modules were content heavy and required rapt attention of participants. Therefore, we decided to introduce a ’sutradhar’ or a narrator, who would help the audience navigate their learning.
Our solution included coining the name Taxashila, a virtual learning platform for taxation, borrowing the name from the ancient university at Takshila. The virtual trainer was given a personality and name and the interface was developed to take the CA intuitively through modules with pauses for quizzes and games.
